SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) -The Southport Fire Department responded to a house fire caused by lightning on Thursday.
Crews responded to the fire on Robert Ruark Dr. at around 7 p.m. and found damage to the two-story home.
While crews did not see the fire, there was light smoke inside with damage both inside and outside the home…
