AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – It’s no secret, Doppler Dave Oliver is fascinated by spectacular events in the sky.
He says he’s been blessed and fortunate enough to have experienced and covered some incredible events during his career, including a couple of total solar eclipses.
From Scotts Bluff, Neb., Oliver covers his first total solar eclipse: “If you’re just joining us, you’re not going to see this in the Texas Panhandle or the News Channel 10 viewing area, but I’m in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. We are in the path of totality. I can’t believe this. It’s lunchtime. The city lights have come on.”…
