CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A major water supply project by the City of Corpus Christi is raising red flags in neighboring San Patricio County, where officials worry it could threaten Sinton’s only source of drinking water.
The city is moving forward with plans to pump up to 24 million gallons a day from an aquifer that also serves Sinton on a scale local leaders say has never been tested.
