Missing and Endangered notification issued for Jackson girl

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Missing and Endangered notification has been issued for a 10-year-old girl in Jackson.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) said Gorgeuss McGrew, of Jackson, was last seen on August 14, 2025, around 7:00 a.m. near the intersection of Fredrica Avenue and Saint Charles Street in Hinds County.

According to Jackson police, McGrew was taken from the bus stop in the 200 block of Fredrica Avenue. Witnesses reported that a woman called the child over to her and forced her into a vehicle driven by an unidentified Black male.

According to agents, McGrew may be accompanied by her non-custodial mother, 28-year-old Dessan Riley, who is described as 5-foot-7-inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes…
