Man fell through laundromat ceiling during alleged break-in

WATERTOWN, N.Y (WWTI) – A 50-year-old Watertown man with an active warrant in Arkansas was arrested after breaking through a laundromat ceiling and stealing over $1,700 worth from the establishment.

The Watertown Police Department arrested Stephen William Tucker on Wednesday. Authorities allege that Tucker climbed through the ceiling to enter a locked room on August 6 at Rose’s Laundromat in the plaza off Eastern Boulevard.

Police officials said that Tucker allegedly damaged ceiling tiles and braces in the process of the alleged robbery.
