LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One man is dead and another man is critically injured following a stabbing Thursday morning in southeast Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Lt. Steven Ryback said the two men were in an argument before the stabbing. One man died at the scene. The man who survived has a large knife wound and was transported to a local hospital with “critical injuries.”
Las Vegas Metropolitan police responded to the 5100 block of Tropicana Avenue, near Nellis Boulevard, around 6:40 a.m. The investigation is taking place near the Whitney Library and the parking lot of an auto parts store. Rybeck said some businesses in the area are closed due to the investigation.
