Health Code Violations In Chautauqua County In July

Each month, Chautauqua County has health code inspectors who visit restaurants and other spots with food preparation. The inspectors have the job of trying to keep us safe. They thoroughly review each restaurant’s operations and location to make sure the restaurants are not violating any health codes. Health code inspectors report on critical violations such as “Food workers prepare raw and cooked or ready to eat food products without thorough handwashing and sanitary glove changing in between.”

It’s important to know which restaurants are following the food safety rules that ensure diners are kept safe from contaminants, food-borne illness, and unsanitary conditions. Lately, there have been a lot of food recalls in New York State, which is pretty scary. Unfortunately, bad food can pose a potentially deadly threat to us.

The restaurants below are the 16 spots in Chautauqua County that were inspected last month that actually do care about safety. You can view the restaurants that did not pass their health code inspections in July, which resulted in a variety of violations. Contact me here.
