Some Grand Rapids residents could see a change in their trash services if the City goes through with its proposed plan to move to a single-hauler system. This would make the City responsible for collecting all trash, recycling and yard waste.
The City proposed switching to a single-hauler system earlier this year, in March, which would mean residents would no longer be able to use a private trash service. Now, the City is seeking feedback from the community before it implements changes.
