Do you know an individual, business or organization that promotes awareness, education and preservation of the natural resources on Fort Myers Beach? The Marine & Environmental Resources Task Force would like to recognize them.
The award is named after Terry Mulholland (pictured) who is a former Mayor of Fort Myers Beach. Current LPA Chair and also a former Mayor Anita Cereceda: “John Mulholland was one of the finest people you’d ever want to meet. He was the first chairperson of the LPA and created the Marine Resources Task Force…he was elected (i believe) in 1998 and unfortunately passed away in 2000. A retired banker from Chase Manhattan bank…graduated from Rutgers University… He was a self made man and those of us who are lucky enough to know him will never forget him.”
