The goal of the Charter Commission is to review the Fort Myers Beach charter, take input from the community, and make recommendations to the Town Council.
The first meeting will be held Tuesday, October 7th in the new Town Hall building at 6231 Estero Boulvevard. The five members appointed by the Town Council to the Charter Commission are James Dunlap, Beverly Milligan, Ed Schoonover, Bryan Thomas and Henry Zuba.
The charter review takes place only once every ten years. Recommended changes would need to be approved by the Town Council then placed on the next ballot (November 2026)…
