CBP Recovers Dozens Of Stolen Vehicles Set For Illegal Export Out OfTexas

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says officers in Texas have recovered 32 stolen vehicles since October 2024, intercepting them before they were illegally exported.

CBP officers at the Area Port of Houston/Galveston flagged the vehicles for examination after identifying “discrepancies in export documentation” and discovered the vehicles were reported stolen from locations across the country.

The stolen vehicles, ranging from luxury sedans to pickup trucks and valued at more than $3 million in total, were set to be exported to countries in the Middle East, West Africa, Central America, and South America, CBP said…
