Douglas County Narcotics Raid in Curtin Uncovers Illegal Pot Grow, Meth, and Guns

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — A Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) investigation into an illicit marijuana grow in Curtin culminated in the detention of 8 people on Wednesday. Two were arrested.

Armed with a search warrant obtained after an investigation established the likelihood of illegal activity, DINT detectives executed the search warrant, with assistance from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 3:00 PM.

Eight people were detained, and a search revealed approximately 30 growing marijuana plants, 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and multiple firearms. None of the marijuana was being grown legally under Oregon law…
