Oregon Woman Gets Seven Years for Setting Ex-Boyfriend’s Parents’ Porch on Fire

EUGENE, Ore. — A woman from Eugene will spend more than seven years in prison for setting fire to the home of a former boyfriend’s parents.

Jasmine Wright was found guilty on five counts of first-degree arson and multiple other charges for setting fire to the front porch of the Eugene home in the Crescent Meadows neighborhood in July 2024.

Security cameras from neighboring properties caught Wright on the scene where she poured flammable liquid onto the porch and set it alight. No one was injured in the incident…
