Three people from Albany for allegedly assaulting a 68-year-old man and stealing his jewelry.
Albany Police said it happened around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday on Clinton Avenue near North Lake Avenue. The victim told police that they snatched the jewelry from his neck, threw him to the ground and began punching him and stole two gold rings from his hand. They left the scene.
The victim had injuries to his hand, head and neck. He was treated on scene and taken to Albany Memorial Hospital for further treatment, police said…
