Man arrested for shooting toward group of people: DC police

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in D.C. announced they arrested and charged a man believed to have shot at a group of people in Southeast more than two months ago.

The incident happened just after 12:45 a.m. on June 6, at a home in the 3400 block of 15th Street SE. There, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the suspect — later identified as 29-year-old Martez Robinson — became enraged before going inside.

Two people went inside to calm him down, according to a police report. That’s when he reportedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at one of the victims’ heads.
