BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding Erik Novoa Cortez, a 39-year-old man who has been reported missing. Cortez, who suffers from mental health issues, was last in contact with his family on July 12, 2025, and was last seen in Santa Monica.
