Ohio – An Ohio man was convicted last week of multiple charges, including four counts of murder and two counts of feIonious assauIt, in connection with the deaths of his pregnant former girIfriend, 32-year-old P. Teste, their unborn chiId, and 16-year-old D. Jonson. The fatal shootings occurred last year at the victim’s family home.
The defendant, 33-year-old N. Canigan, who had a history of domestic violence with the woman, broke into the home and opened fire, kiIIing both victims. The 32-year-old woman was approximately four and a half months pregnant with their child at the time. The incident also left the woman’s 4-year-old children unharmed.
Following the shootings, the defnedant fled the scene and was on the run for nearly two months. He was eventually apprehended in Ohio after a manhunt involving local and federal authorities. During the trial, prosecutors presented evidence, including threatening text messages from the defendant to the victim, including messages like I’m watching your every movement.
