IMPD recovers some of the vases stolen from graves at Indianapolis cemetery

INDIANAPOLIS — New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis says that Indianapolis metro police have recovered some of the hundreds of bronze vases stolen from graves.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the cemetery announced the theft. According to a police report, 246 vases were stolen. The report says the vases were worth a total of $171,000.
