A homeless man was arrested at Panera in The Villages.
Officers were called at about 8 p.m. Wednesday to the restaurant on Main Street at Spanish Springs where the manager pointed to 63-year-old David Francis Bobeck, who had refused to leave, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The manager said that Bobeck had been asked to leave the restaurant earlier in the day. He left initially, but returned some time later.
Bobeck, who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds, was found sitting at a table in the restaurant. Officers checked their records and found that the Illinois native had been formally trespassed and ordered to stay out of the restaurant as of March 26, 2024.
Bobeck was also arrested in May 2024 after showing up at Publix at La Plaza Grande. At the time of Bobeck’s arrest at Publix, Lady Lake police indicated that The Villages Commercial Property Management had banned him from returning to any of the retail establishments at La Plaza Grande, including Publix…
