A roofing job in Auburn turned into an immigration arrest after neighbors called ICE on the crew, according to The Citizen.
One worker was detained on Aug. 7 outside a Seneca Parkway home. The contractor and the man’s family are now working with legal aid to fight the case. Auburn police say they weren’t told in advance that ICE was operating in the area.
