ELKTON — Two Cecil County residents and a third suspect are facing numerous criminal charges after investigators confiscated approximately three-quarters of a pound each of suspect crack cocaine and cocaine, more than $30,000 in cash, about eight pounds of suspect marijuana and 555 baggies of suspect fentanyl during raids in Elkton, North East and Delaware, ending an investigation that lasted several months and involved multiple law enforcement agencies, according to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators also seized one handgun, a digital scale with suspect cocaine residue on it and other evidence, police reported.
The Cecil Whig published an article late last week regarding the arrest of one of those suspects — Anthony L. Brown, a 27-year-old North East resident who was identified as a suspect in January during a CCSO investigation into “a drug trafficking organization led by residents of Cecil County,” court records show.
