Public school female workers now get 12-weeks of paid maternity leave

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Pregnant women who work in Arkansas public schools now have up to 12-weeks of paid maternity leave. This new law went into effect on August 5.

The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education will now cover 100% of the costs for approved paid maternity leave.
