COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A “high-risk parole escapee” wanted on felony warrants was caught by a Colorado Springs K9 after attempting to flee law enforcement, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
Police said the Tactical Enforcement Unit teamed up with the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force of Southern Colorado, CSPD K9 Unit, and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) officers to capture the fugitive, identified as Joshua Kirby, who was wanted for felony escape with no bond and a full state-wide extradition.
