KEARNS, Utah (ABC4) — Unified Police confirmed an incident involving an electric scooter and car at approximately 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Unified Police Sergeant Amee Race confirmed a teenager was riding the scooter west bound on 4865 South near 4400 West when they were struck by a vehicle. The initial investigation indicated the scooter did not yield to traffic.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with officials. The teenager was transported to the hospital for evaluation, but they were articulate and responding well. The crash is still under investigation…
