Series of crashes at east Las Vegas crosswalk sparks public safety concerns

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A recent increase in crashes and several close calls involving pedestrians at an east Las Vegas crosswalk near Eastern and Isabelle Avenues just south of Stewart Avenue has several residents calling on city leaders to implement upgraded safety measures before they say the situation turns deadly.

“How I would describe the intersection is scary, it’s extremely scary,” said one concerned resident, David Gomez.
