UNR students moving in ahead of new school year

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Thousands of excited students will be making their way to the University of Nevada, Reno campus to kick off the new school year.

Students arriving on campus for the first time are enrolled in the NevadaFIT program, which is a required course for new students at UNR. They get a chance to go to classes, meet their professors, and also meet their peers.

Alisia Kostyria, a sophomore at UNR, says moving back onto campus and getting into a routine is the first step. But her favorite part about being back is seeing her friends…
