CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A second person has died as a result of the Aug. 12 crash on Memorial Drive Extension.
Martha Knight, 87, the wife of driver William Knight, died Thursday afternoon at the hospital from her injuries. William Knight, 90, died at the scene. A third person in the vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition, and her injuries were not life-threatening, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.
The crash occurred at about 2:04 p.m. Aug. 12 on the two-lane road near Rushton Lane. Preliminary findings indicate the second vehicle crossed into Knight’s path, striking his vehicle, Beaubien said…
