KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Knoxville Police detectives are asking for the public’s help as they work to identify the suspect in an robbery that happened Friday afternoon in a parking lot on N. Broadway.
According to Knoxville Police, a man was robbed at knifepoint in the parking lot of the Kroger that is located in the 2100 block of North Broadway. KPD said the suspect in the robbery jumped into a Chevy Trailblazer and fled south on Broadway.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect, who they shared surveillance photos of on social media. The individual pictured appears to be a man wearing a purple T-shirt and cargo shorts.
Anyone who knows who the man is or has information about the robbery is asked to contact the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.
