Van Nuys man who repeatedly blasted horns, alarms from home speaks out after arrest

The Van Nuys man who was arrested after blasting horns and alarms from his home for months was released Thursday, and he has a message for police.

Gary Boyadzhayan was taken into custody Wednesday night and was cited for creating a public disturbance and failure to follow an officer’s directions. He was released the Thursday morning, right before officers kicked in his front door and confiscated his sirens.

After countless complaints from neighbors, Los Angeles police arrested a man who has been blasting horns and alarms from his home for months.

“We seized 10 horns,” said Los Angeles Police Capt. Christopher Zine. “They look like train horns being run by a compressor.”…
