SALEM, Va. (WSET) — As students in Salem prepare to return to school on Monday, they will encounter several new initiatives aimed at enhancing both their educational experience and safety.
The district has introduced new artificial intelligence technology, known as SchoolAI, to provide a more personalized learning approach.
Superintendent Dr. Curtis Hicks explained it can help assist students.
Students can actually use it anytime they’re struggling with any sort of content, almost like a personalized AI tutor to help them learn. So, we’re excited about kind of dipping our toes in that,” Dr. Hicks said.
