Expect to see more police presence on Iowa roads

IOWA, USA — Iowa drivers may see increased law enforcement presence on roadways from Aug. 15 to Sept.1 as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign.

The program aims to deter impaired driving and reduce the number of traffic deaths historically seen during Labor Day weekend, according to the administration.
