Niagara Falls Police were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th Street around 2:20am on August 14th after reports of menacing with a deadly weapon.
Upon arrival, officers were met by the victim who stated at approx. 1:50am she went to 601 19th Street – the Coastal Gas Station – to grab a pack of cigarettes. After buying them, she went outside and started talking to friends of hers.
During this time, James Smith came over to her and started to feel up her pockets. The victim told Smith multiple times to stop. He refused, which prompted an argument…
