According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, storms are most likely after 8 p.m. Saturday, August 16, with scattered showers earlier in the afternoon. Winds from the southwest may push storms inland, raising the chance of brief but intense rainfall. Forecasters expect up to a tenth of an inch of rain in most spots, though localized totals could be higher in thunderstorms.
