Gambling machines, computers seized in Fayetteville raids, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office say

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Sixteen gambling machines and dozens of computers used for “illegal gaming operations” were seized after search warrants were executed in Fayetteville, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.

The raids were conducted by the sheriff’s office as well as Homeland Security Investigations at two separate locations: 770 W. Rowan St. and 4441 Bragg Blvd. Combined, sixteen gambling machines, 60 computers and $40,822 in U.S. currency were seized from the two addresses.

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, 50-year-old Sang Hyun Sung was arrested “on outstanding warrants related to the operation of video gaming machines and the manufacture of slot machines.” More charges are possible, the sheriff’s office said…
