Durham Announces 2025 Minority Enterprise Development Week to Boost Local Minority and Women-Owned Businesses

The City of Durham will host its 2025 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week from October 20 to October 24, offering free events to connect minority- and women-owned businesses with new opportunities. Registration is open until October 3, according to the City of Durham website.

The week will begin on October 20 with a keynote address by Curtis Ray Hill, President of Culture of Belonging Global, Inc., at the Durham Marriott City Center, along with a MED Week Business Fair. October 21 will focus on black-owned businesses, October 22 on women-led businesses, and October 23 will be a Day of Giving to support local nonprofits.
