Highs to reach 90s Sunday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Summertime temperatures have returned to the Piedmont with temperatures on our Saturday topping out in the upper 80s. As we move into our Sunday, we will start the day with temperatures around 70 degrees, and there could be some patchy fog to start the day. Afternoon highs will warm into the low 90s with a small chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon. Most of us will remain dry and that should not hold you back from getting outdoors and enjoying a warm summer afternoon.

Starting our work week, we will see highs near 90 on Monday with partly cloudy skies in an isolated shower or storm possible in the afternoon.

A better chance of storms during the day on Tuesday with a high of only 84°. Any showers or storms we do see should be pretty scattered, meaning not everyone will see them…
