In an announcement Saturday, Aug. 16, Spectrum officials said this was all a part of the company’s initiative to “revitalize local community centers and invest in job training programs in underserved rural and urban neighborhoods where Spectrum operates.”
“I am grateful for this investment from Spectrum, which will allow the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center to enhance workforce programs for our constituents,” said State Sen. Andrea Hunley. “This critical support helps foster initiatives such as career services, soft skills training, conflict resolution, identifying and removing barriers. Moreover, this grant builds pathways for our community to learn valuable skills and contribute to the local economy.”
