HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Young innovators have a chance to get hands-on experience with space exploration through NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge, now accepting student team proposals through September 15.
The competition invites students to design, build, and test rovers capable of traversing challenging terrain while completing mission tasks that mirror future Moon and Mars exploration. Teams can choose between remote-controlled and human-powered divisions, with new automation challenges added this year.
