Louisville police searching for Ford sedan after fatal hit-and-run crash with bicyclist

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police are looking for a Ford Taurus in connection to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist earlier this week.

Louisville Metro Police responded to the area near the intersection of Chamberlain Lane and Chamberlain Court around 9:45 p.m. Aug. 11 on a report that a bicyclist had been hit, according to department spokesperson Aaron Ellis. That’s a little over 2 miles away from Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant.

Investigators believes an “unknown passenger vehicle” was headed down Chamberlain Lane, entered the intersection and hit a man on a bicycle. Ellis said the impact caused the bicyclist to be knocked off. The driver didn’t stop after hitting him, continuing in an unknown direction…
