CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Henry Polichetti, a World War II Veteran who was featured on Street Stories ahead of the Army/Navy game held at Gillette Stadium in 2023, has died. He was 110-years-old.
According to his obituary, Polichetti, a Cranston native, “signed up to join the U.S. Navy right after the bombing of Pearl Harbor and served for four years as a radio instructor teaching countless young radiomen the latest in radio direction-finding and early LORAN navigation.”
