Man stabbed to death at Escondido bus station

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was fatally stabbed at a bus station in Escondido Saturday morning, and police have arrested a woman.

Police officers responded to the Escondido Transit Center in the 700 block of W Valley Parkway in Escondido just after 8 a.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a person screaming for help, the Escondido Police Department reports.

Officers arrived at the scene in less than five minutes and began first aid on the man who was on the ground bleeding. Escondido Fire paramedics took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released.

The Escondido Police Department Saturday evening reported 33-year-old Kandilaria Freeman was placed under arrest and booked into the Vista Detention Facility facing a murder charge. The police department said Freeman was placed on a “no bail” hold for a probation violation…
