“Slow the Fast Down”: Sacramento urging slower speeds as school resumes

(FOX40.COM) — The City of Sacramento is participating in a statewide campaign aimed at reducing speeding earlier this week called “Slow the Fast Down.”

According to the city, the message of the campaign is focused around the idea that small reductions in driving speed can “dramatically lower the risk of serious injury or death for pedestrians and bicyclists.”
