Guerneville’s brick plaza turns into a dance floor on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, when Rockin’ the River returns for one night only from 6 to 9 p.m. The free, family-friendly show is presented by the Russian River Rotary Foundation at Guerneville Plaza, River Road and Armstrong Woods Road.
Music lineup
The music starts at 6 p.m. with the Ryan Woodard Band, a local favorite with a set that spans rock, soul and blues. At 7 p.m., the Mike & Pat Show — best known from Guerneville’s Fargo Brothers — keeps the groove rolling. The Traveling Wilburys Revue headlines from 7:30 to 9 p.m., covering Wilburys hits along with classics by George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne.
This is the concert series’ 14th annual outing, reformatted this year as a single focused night. Organizers describe it as a street-party vibe where neighbors bring chairs, kids dance up front and visitors discover why live music on the Lower River feels like a community reunion…
