We’re tracking a pattern that’s really going to put the “warm” in summertime down here in Acadiana. We’ve seen a tropical wave moving into the Gulf, but rest assured, for our immediate area, we’re not expecting any direct tropical hazards or impacts from this particular system. However, its presence, along with other atmospheric features, will help keep the chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in play today and right into tomorrow. Many of us will be in for a mix of sun and clouds, with those storms popping up mainly in the afternoons.
