Police Searching For Two Suspects Wanted In Northeast Armed Carjacking

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with a violent armed carjacking that occurred during the evening hours of Sunday, June 27, 2025, in Northeast, D.C.

According to D.C.Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Sunday, June 27, 2025, just minutes before 9:30 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District responded to reports of a gunpoint carjacking on the 3700 Block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast, D.C.

Police Officers Learn The Victim Was Carjacked At Gunpoint

Upon arrival, Police Officers found an injured victim, who reported to Police Officers that while seated in their parked vehicle on Minnesota Avenue, they were approached by two suspects who pulled out handguns and demanded that they exit the vehicle. The victim quickly replied, and as they were exiting the vehicle, one of the suspects struck the victim in the head with the firearm, and both suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The vehicle has since been recovered.

Detectives Were able To Recover Video Camera Footage That Captured The Suspects

During the ensuing investigation, Detectives and Police Officers recovered area video camera footage that captured photos of the two suspects, as seen in the above photo…
