Tamarack Resort partially reopened Friday, following a two-day closure because of a nearby wildfire.
The Rock Fire, which was ignited by lightning on Tuesday night and quickly grew to 2,000 acres, is centered about 1.5 miles south of the resort; firefighting crews limited its spread overnight into Friday, allowing the resort to resume some of its summer activities.
