SEATTLE — Three right lanes of the northbound Interstate 5 express lanes were closed Saturday night after a crash on the Ship Canal Bridge near Northeast 42nd Street, authorities said. Crews cleared the blockage and reopened the lanes around 9:30 p.m.
Traffic was moving only in the left lane, with backups stretching more than 1.5 miles as of 8:50 p.m. Emergency responders were at the scene, but there was no immediate estimate for when the lanes would reopen.
