ROTTERDAM — Rousing games of cornhole in her neighbor’s front yard caught the eye of Rotterdam resident Karie Countermine last summer. A large group of men would often gather to shoot the breeze and some bean bags. A plan started to take root.
“They were just playing, having some beers and looked like they’re having a great time,” Countermine said.
That’s when her husband, Michael, came up with the idea of opening a business that would provide a “competitive but fun” atmosphere no matter the weather, not just for the group but for the whole community…
