Luke’s Lobster is bringing its signature New England-style seafood to Orange County, with its first location in the region set to open on Balboa Island. The OC Register reports the family-owned company will open a lobster shack at 329 Marine Ave.
Founded in 2009 by a third-generation East Coast lobsterman, the chain is known for its buttered rolls (lobster, shrimp, and crab) and clam chowder. It has now expanded to over 30 locations across the U.S. and internationally, even reaching Japan and Singapore.
The Newport Beach location will feature counter service, open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., its website states. No opening date is listed, but it says the shack is “coming soon” and that the first 100 guests who order a lobster roll will receive a gift…
