NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An off-duty police officer was injured in a fight with bouncers at a Midtown bar overnight.
Metro Police said an argument between the officer and bouncers started outside of Losers Bar and Grill and moved across the street outside of Velvet Taco. The fight became physical, and a bouncer allegedly struck the off-duty officer in the head.
He was critically injured and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he is now in stable condition.
